ROSSKO (Fuse London)
Affiliated with his UK roots Rossko has been an integral part of London’s vibrant House & Techno scene playing his records across the city’s clubs for almost a decade now.
Well-known for his residency at the clandestine ‘Cerca Trova’ parties these were held in illegal basements and warehouses – a creative platform that cemented his identity in the capital during a tough period for night clubs in London.
Now a long serving Fuse resident Rossko matured quickly at the infamous 93 Feet East before moving to its current home at the Shoreditch hotspot; Village Underground.
With the launch of Fuse Ibiza at Sankeys in the summer of 2012 extending his residency to a wider-audience, unsurprisingly Fuse Ibiza quickly became one of the island’s most important dates on the party calendar for clued up clubbers and industry heads.
Rossko is increasingly in-demand by his own right with notable gigs with Carl Cox The Revolution, We Love Space, Tini & The Gang, Sankeys World Tour and invites from clubs like Fabric in London, Magazzini Generali in Milan & Club De Visionaire, Berlin.
Operating solely as a DJ – a rarity nowadays, Rossko’s passion for digging deep in search of records has giving him depth and an original sound fusing the current cutting edge of house & techno with the forgotten gems of the past.
2014 is shaping to eclipse the success of last year, currently represented by the Fuse London Agency & F&G artist management in Italy. Rossko will also release his first joint EP with Fathers & Sons Label owner Julian Perez on the Fuse London imprint later in the year.
A true raver himself, its evident Rossko’s natural understanding of the dance floor will move people with his ever evolving sound.
Nato nel 1984, Rossko vive nella periferia di Londra, in Essex, ed inizia ad innamorarsi della musica elettronica già all’eta di 14 anni.
Nella sua giovinezza, cresce con diversi generi e stili musicali, come l’Hip Hop, Jungle e Garage, che contribuiscono a maturare le sue sonorità, fino ad arrivare ad una forma più profonda di House & Techno.
All’età di 21 anni, Rossko si ritira dal calcio professionistico, a causa di un infortunio. Questa delusione, lo ha portato a focalizzare tutte le sue forze sulla musica e sul djing, in modo da poter esprimere tutto se stesso.
Dopo aver vissuto per 6 mesi a Madrid nel 2003, e dopo aver esplorato la scena underground londinese, la scelta di fare il dj fu naturale.
Nel 2005-2008 Rossko diventa dj resident per Lost Souls, a Londra, party famoso per le feste diurne di sabato, presso il famigerato Public Life di Shoreditch. Qui perfeziona le sue qualità di dj, e le sue sonorità.
Dedica tutto il suo tempo e la sua fatica cercando sonorità originali, ed arriva così ad esibirsi in diversi clubs di Londra, quali:
The Key, The Cross, Egg, Turnmills, Ministry of Sound, Cafe1001, East Village and Home bar.
Arrivano poi performance in: Birmingham, Manchester, Southampton, Liverpool e più recentemente a Barcellona, Ibiza and Manheim, suonando al fianco di djs come: Loco Dice, Luciano, Nick Curly, Federico Molinari, H.O.S.H, Ray Okpara, Nima Gorji, Daniel Sanchez, Chris Liebing, Josh Wink, Tobi Neumann, Laidback Luke, Guy called Gerald, Tolga Fidan, Afrilounge, Men In Trees, Geddes.
