VIRTUAL BOYS & GEGE

 

Andrea Setti, artisticamente conosciuto come Gege, nasce nel 1985 e sin da piccolo coltiva la sua passione per la musica a 360 gradi grazie soprattutto alla cultura musicale tramandata dalla madre, collezionista e amante di dischi rari e sconosciuti. Già dalla giovane età attratto dal mondo della notte inizia a suonare in alcuni club della sua provincia.

 

Vincenzo Auriemma e Mattia Zenoni in arte Virtual Boys, rispettivamente classe 1984 e 1981, iniziano a organizzare party e successivamente a suonare riscuotendo già dai primi periodi un buon seguito e imponendosi anche loro nei club migliori della zona.

 

Nel 2010 la svolta, i tre amici decidono di intraprendere il percorso insieme e in pochi mesi il trio Gege & Virtual Boys fa subito parlare di se con serate nei migliori club del centro e nord italia (Docshow, Tenax, Moxa, Vox, Echoes per citarne alcuni…) , party privati epici e il loro after party Snooze.

Nel 2011 prendono la residenza nella storica serata bolognese Docshow e nel 2012 nel nuovo locale Barn di Modena.

I loro dj set a 6 mani sono un viaggio attraverso tantissimi generi e stili musicali, mai scontati e imprevedibili.

 

 

Andrea Setti, artistically known as Gege, was born in 1985 and since he was child he cultivated the passion for the music at 360 degrees, especially thanks to his mother, who handed down her music culture, being a collector and lover of rare and unknown records.

Since he was young, attracted by the world of night, started playing in some local clubs of his area.

Vincenzo Auriemma and Mattia Zenoni, alias Virtual Boys, class 1984 and 1981, started at the same time organizing parties and afterwards to play music themselves,  collecting from the beginning a good following, and imposing themselves in the best clubs of their area.

In 2010 the turning point, the trio joined their forces, and in a few months Gege & Virtual Boys makes itself known by playing in the best clubs of the north and centre of Italy ( Docshow, Tenax, Moxa, Vox, Echoes,… just to name a few), in epic private parties and in their own after party called Snooze.

In 2011 they gained residence in the historical event in Bologna, called Docshow, and in 2012 in the new local Barn Club in Modena.

Their 6 hands Dj sets is a trip into different music genres and styles, never granted and always unpredictable.
